San Juan Mission in San Antonio, Texas was originally located in East Texas and was moved to the San Antonio area in 1731. The grounds produced several crops and there were large herds of cattle and sheep.

I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine.
