The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. While spending a vacation at Acadia National Park in Maine, our hotel was right out of the 1950s. It was an extremely clean and lovely place, and the shadow of the old fashioned screen door to our room caught my attention.
