“Walnut Canyon National Monument was established by President Woodrow Wilson on November 30, 1915, to preserve ancient cliff dwellings. Initially managed by the US Forest Service, the monument was transferred to the National Park Service in 1934. Today a variety of archeological and natural resources are preserved on approximately 3600 acres.” Source: National Park Service Website

I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine. Indeed, as a life-long Michigander, in my portfolio you will find many images of our lovely Michigan shorelines, the Freighters that sail the Great Lakes, Michigan landmark locations such as Mackinac Island, Belle Isle, Greenfield Village, and more. I also had an image chosen in July of 2020 and again in 2021 to be included in the publication "Our Magnificent Planet" by Lenswork...
