Description
The Salt Plant in Saint Clair Michigan, gets an expansion. The salt deposits in the Great Lakes region are very large and are left over from ocean deposits eons ago. Salt has been extracted from this area since the 1800s and this plant has been in operation for many years. The gray building and fall sky make the national flags (US and Canada) and the fall tree stand out. I did not alter the color of this image, the building itself is gray in the fall lighting.
