The "Governor's Palace" in San Antonio Texas is a national historic landmark. The first portion was built in 1722 and was the office of the captain of the Presidio or the local military establishment. This is a detail of the main door of the building.

I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine.
