This is a photo of the Jailhouse in Bodie State Park, California. Built during the gold rush, Bodie was notorious for wild-west living at its peak. If you were born in Bodie, you may still be buried there. Otherwise, the only residents are groundhogs and sagebrush.

I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine. Indeed, as a life-long Michigander, in my portfolio you will find many images of our lovely Michigan shorelines, the Freighters that sail the Great Lakes, Michigan landmark locations such as Mackinac Island, Belle Isle, Greenfield Village, and more.
