Stunningly beautiful and amazingly blue, Crater Lake in Oregon is the 7th deepest lake in the world. The lake is so blue because it's deep enough that there is no sky reflection on the surface. Crater Lake is a volcano crater, and Wizard Island in the center of the photo is actually another smaller crater. The little white dot in front of Wizard Island is a tour boat.

I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine.
